Photographs of the band : Friends

[ Home ] [ Jodi ] [ Matt ] [ Felix ] [ Chris ] [ Friends ]

Here are some pictures of past band members, good friends, and strange people we've met along the way.

Friends
Bob (on the left) and Amy (on the right). Bob is one of our favorite fans. He's a physicist at OSU. Amy, besides being Jodi's sister, is at almost every one of our Columbus shows.
Joel Walters. Mild mannerd construction worker by day. But kicking bass player for Public Nuisance by Night. Jarrod and Jeremy have known Joel since childhood. Joel also played drums with them in Pasquali.
Eshida, his hobbies include Tennis, Social Gatherings, Golf, Conservation(animals), Nature stuff, Internet crap, Chasing tornadoes.

Past Members

Jeremy Foltz (left) was the Planet 12 bassist from 2000 to 2002 and also did a lot of promotion for the band. He is now attending school in Cincinnati, Ohio to become a teacher. He's pictured here, with one of Cincy's more famous residents (right).

Jarrod Whittington was a second Planet 12 guitarist on and off for about 2 years from 2000 to 2002. He left to spend more time with his daughter and to live like a bohemian artist. He is continuing to play music as a singer-songwritter in Chicago, Illinois. We can't wait till he starts his own band up again. He's very talented.

James Keaton (left), was Planet 12's first bass player and was the best man at Matt's wedding. He ran off to run sound on Carnival Cruise Ship that has a home port in San Juan, PR. He's since become the head sound man for several ships. His job includes traveling to exotic ports and partying with the natives. Rough job.. poor baby.

Tony (right) is an excellent drummer who's influences include Little Feat and Metallica. Now that's what I call diverse influecnes! Tony filled in for Fletch on drums after he left. Tony played with us on our two largest gigs at that time including Athens' Ohio's legendary Halloween block party. He learned the songs quick and provided hours of sarcastic entertainment.

Tony now works in Austin Texas designing chips for the next Playstation game console

Here are two original members of Planet 12, Fletch (on the left) was an excellent drummer who's large, partly home-made drum kit was dubbed the Appalachian Falcon by members of the band. If you looked closesly enough, you could see wookies welding the thing together as he played. You couldn't ask for a steadier double bass pedal. He actually came up with the idea behind the name Planet 12

Dave Riesbeck (on the right) was the lead guitarist. He has excellent chops and ear for music theory. He is a frequent writer for Matt Toledo's website, the Athens Musician Network. Dave is currently attending classes at O.U. Dave and Matt Toledo used to work together at FrogNet until Dave left to attend school.
